OSHKOSH, WI – Muza Metal Products has successfully passed testing by Underwriters Laboratories to increase its UL-certified NEMA rated enclosure offerings at its Oshkosh, WI facility. Muza has now successfully captured the Type 12 listing in addition to their Type 1 & 3R offerings.
Muza established a testing station within its manufacturing facility that verifies customer cabinets meet UL standards for water and dust resistance.
“As part of our plan to continually improve our customer experience and offerings, our customers can now source their Type 1, 3R & 12 enclosures directly from us with the UL listed label installed,” John Kriz, Muza Metal Products president, said. Due to the internal capabilities and expertise to design and test to UL standards, Muza Metal Products is confident that they can help save both time and money for their customers when sourcing their UL-listed enclosures with them.
“We targeted this strategic business initiative as a result of feedback from our customer base, and firmly believe this capability gives us the ultimate competitive advantage when it comes to custom fabricated enclosures,” Kriz said.
