MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

JOB PURPOSE:

The maintenance technician position is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Perform repairs, modifications, and preventative maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment including electrical, hydraulic, mechanical, plumbing and pneumatic systems.
• Comply with all safety requirements as directed.
• Comply with all Personal Protective Equipment requirements when exposed to any source of hazard such as chemicals, fumes, odors, dust and poor ventilation, elevation or confinement as well as, working on or near mechanical, electrical, heat, explosive or any other hazards.
• Complete all tasks as assigned and maintain accurate maintenance records.
• Troubleshoot, repair or improve individual machines and provide preventative maintenance on production and non-production equipment as directed by supervision.
• Provide maintenance and production management with timely follow-up communication on all assignments and/or repairs.
• Order parts through maintenance supervisor as needed to repair breakdowns by providing the necessary information.
• Contact tech support by phone to troubleshoot equipment when all onsite resources have been utilized.
• Work with maintenance management to continuously improve plant operations, maintenance or preventative maintenance procedures.
• Work with maintenance management and give input on all maintenance opportunities to improve the facility.
• Maintain clean and orderly tools and work area; contribute to department 5s.
• Provide support as needed to facilities maintenance technician.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by performing and communicating in a manner that promotes good relationships with customers, clients, co-workers, and management.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proven work record with electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic trouble shooting skills.
• Ability to handle working conditions that pose potential contact with heat, oil, dust, pneumatic and hydraulic pressure devices.
• Provide personal tools and tool box.
• Able to operate forklift and scissor lifts; possess basic welding skills.
• Ability to mechanically disassemble and assemble machines and components, repair fabrication.
• Requires considerable physical effort (standing, lifting, walking, climbing stooping, etc.).
• Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures
• Work well as a team member or on individual assignments.
• Ability to locate problems by means of testing and observation of mechanical and/or electrical systems or devices in and out of operation; looking and listening for problems using precision measuring and testing procedures and instruments.
• Able to read machine prints, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic schematics
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
• Blueprint reading and measuring equipment experience

Project Engineer

JOB PURPOSE:

The Project Engineer is responsible for performing conceptual and detailed design of sheet metal products. The individual is creative, efficient, and works well in a fast paced team environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Create, document, and maintain drawings in SolidWorks.
• Create programs for CNC turrets using FabriWin.
• Create, structure and maintain Bill of Materials for Finished Goods and sub-assemblies using TCM MRP system.
• ECN maintenance for BOM's and drawings.
• Develop solutions for new and existing customers, blending company standards with new technologies and processes.
• Coordinate with purchasing and suppliers to help specify cost effective, yet appropriate, components needed for designs.
• Work closely with manufacturing and the customer to ensure manufacturability of the design.
• Complete part detail and assembly prints per engineering standards and best practices.
• Verify that customer requirements and specifications are met throughout all phases of the process.
• Control project costs through use of efficient design practices.
• Support external design reviews.
• Use design techniques to Poke-Yoke all products.

COMPETENCIES:

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of SolidWorks is required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two year technical degree in Mechanical Design and five years of industry experience OR ten years of industry experience in metal fabrication is required.
• SolidWorks Experience.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and FabriWin is preferred.
• Candidate must be a highly motivated and team player with a positive attitude.
• The ideal individual should be accustomed to working with a sense of urgency while balancing calculated risks.
• This individual must be self-starter with the willingness to attack areas where knowledge may be weak.
• Experience communicating with suppliers, vendors, and customers is a plus.

Account Development Manager

JOB PURPOSE:
Lead in the development of new business opportunities and expand relationships with existing customers. Identify opportunities within the company’s existing customer base. Ensure the opportunities meet revenue, margin and serviceability criteria. Lead the annual planning process with both existing and newly identified key customers.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Drive revenue and margin growth by identifying business opportunities within current customers and develop them into new business.
• Score and develop business opportunities using the Zebra scoring methodology.
• Close gaps in the Zebra scoring.
• Provide initial forecast and solution’s capability needs.
• Provide input for improving sales materials, communication, and the Zebra profile.
• Leverage the annual Partnership Planning and Scorecard process to identify customer’s critical business issues and meet joint business objectives.
• Travel/visits to customers on a regular basis to provide solutions, form relationships, resolve issues, and identify new business opportunities.
• Document information learned about new opportunity prospects and share with service and value delivery team members as well as leadership.
• Plan and lead the annual Partnership Planning and Scorecard process for all assigned customers including customer visits, Muza tours, business planning, business reviews and product review meetings.
• Pursue new business/product quotation packages through meetings with customer purchasing and engineering groups.
• Initial review of customer drawing packages for business fit prior to Estimating. Contact customer to resolve print, spec, and product issues for quoting.
• Lead process and review/finalize annual plan with internal resources for customer presentation.
• Develop and negotiate customer annual objectives using the Partnership Planning and Scorecard process.
• Fill role as the acting project manager as necessary for large customer program SOP launches.
• Responsible for working with the Sales team to onboard and integrate new customers while enhancing existing customer relationships

Description:
JOB PURPOSE:

Sets up and operates power brake to bend, notch, punch, form rolls, arc, or straighten metal plates or sheet metal and structural shapes to blueprint or specifications by performing the following duties.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Selects, installs, and aligns tooling in accordance with the set up instructions
• Use CNC controls to bend flat blank in accordance with the bend instructions
• Use CNC controls to correct the bend angles and flange lengths to make conforming product
• Read and interpret blue prints
• Uses various gauges to confirm the piece is conforming to customer specifications
• Confirms and controls quality through a series of part checks
• Keep a neat organized work station
• Clean and examine machine and tooling to ensure optimal performance
• Prepare product to meet all shipping standards
• Perform all duties with safety as the number one priority

Manual Welder

Description:
General Purpose:
Perform set up and all position welding on a diversified line of standard weldments and structures in accordance with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements.

Main Job Responsibilities
• Read blueprints to determine specific placement of welds
• Bolts, clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position of welding
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc or gas welding equipment
• Following SOP
• Some grinding and finishing work
• Alerts supervisor of any quality issues
• Maintains accurate count of parts produced
