Description:
JOB PURPOSE:

Quality inspectors examine components to ensure proper quality and adherence to safety standards. Mechanical inspectors work in plant, office or customer site using specialized tools and coordinate measuring machines (CMMs/Romer) to test the quality of products.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


• Inspecting new/revised parts, incoming materials
• Calibrating measuring instruments
• Providing basic quality training
• “Go To” person for basic Quality Questions.
• Conformance to ISO 9000/2008 systems and requirements.
• Use of mechanical systems, critical thinking skills, and proficiency with standard inspection equipment.
• Quality checks through the use of calipers, protractors, height gauges, gauge pins, thread gauges, tape measures, and radius gauges to inspect parts.
• Working with a manual CMM and Romer arm.
• Reading and analyzing blueprints, manuals, verifying measurements and understanding GD&T terms and application.
• Conducting process audits/internal audits.
• ASTM standard and information gathering.
• PPAP and supporting elements.

  • Familiarity with a manufacturing environment
  • Ability to use a personal computer and word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • TCM software experience a plus

Description:
JOB PURPOSE:

Buyer ensures appropriate sources are in place to meet the business needs. This includes material for production, supplies, and services. Buyer manages the entering, releasing, expediting and maintaining of all purchase orders associated with the different areas listed below.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Depending on role within purchasing team, responsibilities will include a portion of the following:
• Identify, issue purchase orders for, and coordinate delivery of inventory, supplies and services. This may include the following areas:
o Sheet metal
o Tubing / Bar stock
o Paint and paint supplies
o Hardware
o Pallets and packaging
o Office supplies
o Janitorial and shop supplies
o Tooling
o Industrial gasses (laser, welding, forklift)
o Other purchased components
• Owner of sourcing process including supplier selection, supplier compliance, and conducting supplier reviews
• Manage outside processing (paint, plate, silkscreen, etc.) and fabrication outsourcing as demand arises
• Point of contact for contract services (laundered items, vending machines, janitorial services, snow/lawn care, etc.)
• Track and Issue POs for emergency services that are performed before being quoted (Machine down or Safety concerns to be immediately addressed)
• Reviewing invoices/reconciling PO differences
• Managing Automated Vending program for distribution of supplies
• Sending items out to be quoted
• May include the purchasing of Capital Equipment and working on Capital Expenditure Projects
• Creating Requisitions
• Managing a Pem/Fastener Program
• Managing a Paintline Masking Program
• Manage material certs and provide to Quality upon request

Manual Welder

Shift:

2nd shift Monday – Thursday 4:45pm – 2:45am

Experience:

Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or general education degree(GED) required
  • Blueprint reading and measuring equipment experience required
  • Minimum of 6 months experience required or equivalent

Description:
General Purpose:
Perform set up and all position welding on a diversified line of standard weldments and structures in accordance with alignment, dimensional, and general inspection requirements.

Main Job Responsibilities
• Read blueprints to determine specific placement of welds
• Bolts, clamps and tack-welds parts to secure in position of welding
• Sets up equipment and welds parts, using arc, gas-shielded arc or gas welding equipment
• Following SOP
• Some grinding and finishing work
• Alerts supervisor of any quality issues
• Maintains accurate count of parts produced

Description:
Responsible to inspect, hang on parts, masking, coordination of assembly jobs when needed, take off and packaging of finished painted products.
